Noleggio Bareboat e Patente Nautica
Cos'è il bareboat, documenti richiesti (ADB, ICC), responsabilità e consigli per principianti.
Bareboat charter is a freedom-filled option for those who want to sail on their own — but with legal requirements and responsibilities. Here's what to know.
What Is Bareboat?
A charter with no crew, where you fully operate the boat. Cheaper than a skippered charter, but navigation, anchoring and safety are entirely your responsibility.
Required Documents (Turkey)
- Amateur Sailor License (ADB): The basic license to operate a boat in Turkish waters.
- VHF radio license (ROC): Recommended/required for radio use.
- Sailing resume: Charter companies may ask for cruising experience.
International Validity
The ICC is valid abroad. For crossings to Greek islands, documents and a transit log matter.
Who Is It For?
Experienced sailors with at least a few seasons. Beginners should first gain experience with a skippered charter.
